SureID Certified Edge™ Wins Big at ISC West
The International Security Conference & Exposition — better known as ISC West — is the largest conference in the United States dedicated to the physical security industry. Each year they recognize companies for their innovative solutions to help keep businesses safer and more secure. At ISC West in Las Vegas this year, SureID received one of the top honors by earning the Hosted Solutions/Managed Services award for SureID Certified Edge™, a trusted identity primarily for vendors and contractors.
Earning an award at ISC West means that your product is not only innovative, but it also becomes the standard by which other security solutions companies try to achieve. The ISC award comes right after the company announced future partnerships with nonprofits such as VolunteerMatch and Positive Coaching Alliance. SureID also has plans to partner with commercial businesses.
“Over the past several years, we’ve worked hard to become one of the leading providers of high-assurance identity solutions for individuals, companies, federal agencies and the Department of Defense,” said SureID Chairman and CEO, Steve Larson in the Portland Business Journal.
“Our next challenge is to take what we’ve learned from our hard-won experience working to meet the high standards of the military and apply that to a broader set of commercial markets.”
Certified Edge is a high-assurance identity solution that enables entities to have confidence in the identity and business legitimacy of third-party vendors, contractors and suppliers that come on-site to provide various services. It offers security features such as biometric data, thorough background screenings and mobile app ID verification. Certified Edge also assigns additional attributes to a digital identity such as a recurring background screen, professional certifications, and licenses.
Along with Certified Edge, SureID also issues PIV-I credentials and provides non-criminal fingerprint-based background checks and submits them directly to the FBI.
